These photos were taken in Eastern Washington, near the city of Spokane. 
The courage of these pilots is demonstrated as one of the photos shows how
close they flew near major power lines to contain the blaze that threatened
many homes.  We dedicate this page to the many brave people that risk
their lives to contain these fires that threaten lives and property.
